Qualifying Stage – 8 weeks
– Randomized schedule
– 3 points per win
– 3 teams with highest point total (from wins) will become group stage 1 seeds (total points scored tie breaker)
Group Stage – 6 weeks
– 3 groups of 4 teams
– 3 teams with highest point total (from wins) from qualifying stage will become group stage 1 seeds
– The rest of the teams will be randomly assigned to groups via SPIN THE WHEEL
– 6 weeks total, play each team in group twice
– 3 points per win, 1 bonus point to highest scoring team that lost per group
– Top 2 teams from each group advance to the knockout round (playoffs) (total points scored tie breaker)
– Top 2 teams get first round byes in knockout round
Knockout Round – 3 weeks
– 1st round: 6 seed vs. 3 seed and 4 seed vs. 5 seed
– 2nd round 1st seed vs lowest seed team from 1st round
– World Cup Final
